Jake Currie, P.E.

Jake is a technical sales engineer at CAST CONNEX, where he promotes and provides guidance to the AEC community on the use of steel castings in buildings and bridges in the southeastern region of the United States.

Before CAST CONNEX, he spent over a decade as a consulting structural engineer for Stantec and as a special inspector for a local North Carolina firm. During his time in consulting, he served as lead engineer or EOR for industrial, manufacturing, federal, and military clients across the US and in several additional countries. He has designed over $3B and 11 Msf of construction and is licensed in 13 states.

Jake is based in Raleigh, NC, and has too many hobbies to count. In his his (seemingly decreasing) spare time, you can find him outside running, fishing, golfing, or working in the yard or on the house. He also enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and two kids at the beach and working on home repair projects with his church or various nonprofits in the area.
