We are celebrating the grand opening of the St. Lawrence Market North Building, a revitalized community hub and architectural landmark in the heart of downtown Toronto. After nearly a decade operating outdoors, the beloved Saturday Farmers’ Market has officially returned indoors to its historic home at Front and Jarvis streets — now reimagined in a vibrant, state-of-the-art space that honors the past while looking toward the future.
CAST CONNEX is proud to have contributed to this award-winning project, designing and supplying pairs of custom steel castings for the Architecturally Exposed Structural Steel (AESS) column capitals found in interior and exterior locations. These sculptural castings enhance the building's architectural detailing while supporting the structural transition from concrete columns to structural steel above.

In addition, we supplied several of our standardized Universal Pin Connectors (UPC) for the exposed structural braces in the lobby, delivering both performance and aesthetic continuity to the space.
As CAST CONNEX is headquartered in Toronto, it is a privilege to be part of this legacy project in our hometown — one that continues to serve and celebrate our city’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. We extend our congratulations to the City of Toronto and the entire project team on the successful completion of this iconic redevelopment.
