At the Cincinnati Ballet, Margaret & Michael Valentine Center for Dance, CAST CONNEX Architectural Tapers (ART) finish the ends of HSS columns that grace the entrances, creating an elegant finish that aims to reflect the building’s purpose.
The ARTs allow the stylistic columns to mirror the graceful lines of dance positions that inspired them. They seamlessly fuse form and function, resulting in a statement of timeless elegance and inclusivity.

The Cincinnati Ballet Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance marks a significant expansion, doubling its space to 57,000 square feet, accommodating the main company, Second Company, and all levels of the Otto M. Budig Academy with nine dance studios. Among them, one studio features a "mobility lift system," promoting inclusivity for students with various physical abilities. The architectural design reflects Cincinnati Ballet's mission to democratize dance, making it accessible to all.
