In this transformative process, CAST CONNEX® was engaged with designing and providing custom Y-node casting, along with CAST CONNEX Architectural Tapers™ and Universal Pin Connectors™, to craft an elegant canopy at the building's entrance

This ambitious endeavor involved renovating both floors to accommodate clinical exam rooms, procedure rooms, dental treatment spaces, and x-ray and ultrasound imaging facilities. Additionally, the building houses offices and waiting areas, uniting a range of Carilion's pediatric specialty practices under one roof.

When used together, CAST CONNEX Architectural Tapers and Universal Pin Connectors lend a slender appearance to columns, braces, struts, or other structural members. The end condition also enables the use of a smaller-sized Universal Pin Connector than would otherwise fit the structural member.
